Mission of Committee For Efficient Government

Committee For Efficient Government, LLC (CFEG) was formed in 2012 to combat ever growing identity theft-based tax refund fraud problem which is costing the United States Treasury billions of dollars at the hands of identity thieves.

CFEG’s mission is to seek and explore ways in which the Government can operate more efficiently and bring those ideas and solutions to the forefront of Congress and the American public.

One of CFEG’s goals is to bring transparency to government and to protect the American taxpayer and the U.S. Treasury by educating lawmakers and bringing to their attention examples of government losses, such as the losses which are occurring at the U.S. Treasury as a result of the identity theft-based tax refund fraud problem.

CFEG’s mission is to also bring transparency to the U.S. Treasury by educating lawmakers and bringing to their attention examples of government losses through inefficiency, mismanagement, negligence, and waste which has resulted in the depletion of government assets, resources and taxpayer money.

CFEG also seeks is to expose wasteful government spending and find solutions to such problems through research, public awareness, education and legislative and program changes and initiatives.

CFEG’s public relations campaign exposed the failings of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to stop identify-theft tax refund fraud that was robbing the US Treasury of tens of $billions.

Despite years of increasing rates of identify-theft tax refund fraud that ruined credits histories of millions of Americans while depleting the U.S. Treasury of revenue, the IRS initiated only mediocre actions to curtail it.

CFEG expanded its public awareness program to further expose criminal acts occurring within the IRS, including the egregious negligence of many IRS employees that permitted identify-theft tax refund fraud to continue, and in many cases worsen.

CFEG updated its website to serve as a repository of illegal acts perpetrated by IRS employees, including maintaining a year-by-year directory of criminal convictions of IRS and Department of Justice employees to defraud the U.S. Treasury and overt criminal acts perpetrated against innocent citizens.

In response to the homicide of George Floyd committed by four Minneapolis police officers, CFEG reached out to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office to obtain all chain-of-custody and autopsy/toxicology documents used to determine cause and manner of George’s death.

CEFG informed Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office that CFEG’s independent review will add credibility to the investigation by having outside Medical Examiner’s that CFEG retains to review and opine on autopsy report’s final conclusions.

Carolyn M Marinan of the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office responded to by stating: “That information is protected under Minnesota statute. “

CFEG will petition Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office and District Court for authorization to obtain this critical data as it clearly is in the public interest.
